There's so much to explore here at our farm. With four generations of the Greenow family having lived and worked here, a lot of history has taken place over that time. It all started when Great Grandad Evan purchased the farm. With almost a century of change & progress, one thing has stayed the same - farming is hard work! We put a huge effort growing the next crop of vegetables and rearing the next group of animals. Every farmer knows that as the seasons change, they each bring a fresh & familiar list of jobs. All the exertion and attention will, hopefully, be rewarded with delicious fresh produce and improved prospects for the following seasons.

In agriculture there are always people developing new ideas and others rediscovering old wisdom. On the farm we try to learn from both; and implement changes that will benefit our animals & produce, and make the farm more sustainable.
We have various projects that we are considering. We look forward to sharing more information with you once we are able to and we are excited about the future of The Cross Farm. |
